I am Beautiful and so are you!!

Beauty is so in the eye of the beholder.

Today, I stopped when I saw a friend whom I hadn't seen in months.

"Wow, you look Beautiful" 

That's the first thing she said to me.

I was taken quite aback. No-one has ever told me I am Beautiful.

I've had compliments before, you look really well, you look nice today, that colour really suits you and that kind of thing, but never ever before has someone told me I am Beautiful, because externally I am a very "Normal" looking person, to me Beauty has always been reserved for the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, and screen sirens such as.

After I had finished catching up with my friend, I realised what it was she was seeing. 

It wasn't external outward Beauty, but the "Glow" I have been given since I started "Giving"

The last couple of years have been very difficult for me due to many family issues overseas and here on my own doorstep, I found that these issues were comsuming me emotionally and I had to try and divert my emotions elsewhere and my energy into more positive things.

I volunteered myself for a trip to Bangladesh through Business Chicks and The Hunger Project. 

A trip that has already started to change my life. 

A trip that has inspired me to create events, and fundrasing methods that have actually blown me away with the genorousity of those around me. To become more aware of global issues which we can tackle, to believe in the good inside everyone and the "Beauty" they all possess. 

So let's all be BEAUTIFUL, give time and find a passion one that is selfless and without anything other than emotional reward, and we can all live in the most Beautiful of worlds.
