Well knock me down and call me Homer, I think this has to be one of the best comps I have seen run for women.
Business Chicks delivering 72, yes 72!! Tubs of Maggie Beer Ice Cream to your work place if you tell them in 25 words or less how the Ice Cream will improve Morale of your workplace....
WTF will 72 tubs look like...now close eyes and visualise
hmmmmm.....
This was my poor entry thought
We will bathe in it's delicious flavours for weeks. Each mouthful will produce a feeling of happiness which can only result in greater morale.
agghhhh
I have never been able to do these 25 words or less comps.
It would be a little selfish of me to win this comp, as I am a sole trader, who if won would either die of a coronary a few hours after finishing them all or I would have to share.
Sharing Maggie Beer ice cream goes against all my morals regarding this delicious product which I am already know to have a penchant for, but with so much of it up for grabs I think it would be possible.
There are several Bloggers and people I would like to share it with
Firstly I would have to fly Mrs Woog to Perth as I know just how much she likes Maggie Beer, I think we could be really good Ice Cream Buddies.
Then we would have to grab a hold of Glowless as she's a Perth girl and am sure she could do with a night off to eat Ice Cream.
Then there would be Jo Thornely she'd have to jump on a plane too and come to Perth, but I think her and Mrs Woog would even without the ice cream be able to improve he morale of any workplace.
I would also have to invite Cath Sutherland who lives just down the road and I know to be a Business Chick and have been wanting to talk to her for months about how I can create Brand Energy for my Little White T's.
Also to we would have to invite Nikki she will be on hand to give us all styling advice following our expanding waist lines following the gorging out on 72 tubs of ice cream.
NO I am not pregnant, it's Maggie Beer!!!
I also think one of the Major Champagne producers should send us a few bottles to wash down the Ice Cream.
Morale would never be higher!!!
PS, I have not been paid or sponsored by anyone to write this little blog. But for those women out there who aren't already members of Business Chicks go and check them out, they have great comps and networking events all over Australia.
PPS, I am probably now disqualified from the comp....doh.
What would you do with 72 tubs of Maggie Beer Ice cream???

Gay Marriage....bring it on!!
We have heard many a rambling from people on "gay marriage being morally wrong"
and those who have said it is a right.
Now comes my 2 cents worth.
I am a Heterosexual.
Marriedfor 11 years forever, to Richard.
We have 3 boys.
If one of my boys were to tell me they were Gay how would I feel?
I would hug them and tell them how much I loved them and I feel blessed to have a child who is able to confide in me their sexuality. I would also love them regardless.
I would also hope for them to be able to find a life partner and make a commitment just as me and their father did years ago.
So I am all for Gay Marriage.

Where is my Unicorn?
Everyone loves someone or something...yes?
For me I love many things in life.
I love the feel and smell of freshly laundered linen.
I love the first signs of spring when the flowers are just starting to pop through the ground.
I love my kids, even though as young men and teenagers they are driving me to distraction with various haircuts and wanting to fire real guns (in the safety of a gun club!)!!!
I also love my "Unicorn"
My "Unicorn" is my hubby, Richard. A sometimes considered mythical creature I have been lucky enough to find a man who has provided me with everything and more I want, need and deserve in life. I am thankful in finding my Unicorn. 22 years and 5 months I have had my "Unicorn" and everyday I am glad to have found it.
So have you found your "Unicorn" ?
